Dr. Matthew McGowan has just completed seven years of mentorship of Epsilon Mu, the Eta Sigma Phi chapter at Fordham University. Before that he had been mentoring Alpha Upsilon at the College of Wooster in Ohio. For his ten years of service to Eta Sigma Phi and for his general promotion of the Classics at his home institution, in the greater NY area (as president of the NY Classical Club), and around the country and globe, we nominate him for honorary membership in Eta Sigma Phi.
