Have you ever wanted to travel to New England in the spring? Well, here’s your chance. The 116th annual meeting of the Classical Association of New England will take place March 17-18, 2023, at St. Sebastian’s School in Needham, Massachusetts, and Eta Sigma Phi is sponsoring a panel for the first time.

Paper requirements

  • topics on the ancient Mediterranean world, its reception, and its pedagogy
  • 15-minute presentation
  • Deadline to submit abstract and paper is December 1, 2022.

Are you presently registered as an undergraduate at your institution?
You must be an undergraduate at the time of submission to appear on the ΗΣΦ panel at CANE.
Are you presently a member of CANE?
You must be a member of CANE to present a paper at the Annual Meeting of the association. ΗΣΦ will pay for your membership, should your paper be accepted for presentation.
Has a faculty sponsor read, edited, and recommended the submission of this paper?
Does your name appear anywhere on your abstract or paper or title page? If so, please do not submit.
