Prof. Douglas Casson
Professor Casson, a member of St. Olaf’s Department of Political Science, was a classics major as an undergraduate. He has promoted the classics through his work as the Director of the Great Conversation, the college’s intensive, two-year “Great Books” program with a heavy focus on Greco-Roman antiquity. He has also given talks to our local chapter and through the Great Conversation is financially supporting one of our visiting speakers in the fall of 2017.
