Dr. Emily Egan is an Assistant Professor of Art History and Archaeology at UMD who is an affiliate faculty member of the Classics Department and is highly appreciated by our students, including a number of members of Eta Sigma Phi. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati and has done research and published on the wall paintings of the Mycenaean palaces.

Dr. Madeleine Goh has taught ancient Greek and classical mythology for the Department for several years; her classes have included current and new members of Eta Sigma Phi. She holds a Ph.D. in Classics from Harvard and has taught at Indiana University before coming to Maryland. She is a co-editor of the Brill Dictionary of Ancient Greek.

Dr. Eugenia Lao has taught beginning and intermediate Latin for the Department for several years; her classes have included current members of Eta Sigma Phi. She holds a Ph.D. in Classics from Princeton and has taught at the College of the Holy Cross, George Washington University, and the Catholic University of America before coming to Maryland.
