Julia Thomas, Megale Prytanis

Julia is a senior Classics and English major at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She’s originally from Marlton, NJ, and when not doing Greek or Latin homework, can be found rock climbing or playing roller derby.

Martin Albright, Megas Hyparchos

Martin is a senior at the University of Alabama studying Greek, philosophy, and math.  He has written and presented on New Testament textual criticism, reception of Augustine in medieval philosophy, and classical reception in 20th century French theater.  He plans on applying to graduate school for philosophy.

Zachary Chen, Megas Grammateus

Zachary is a senior studying Latin, Greek, and German at Hillsdale College. He has been an enthusiastic member of Eta Sigma Phi since his freshman year and counts a victory in the 2026 National Convention Certamen among his proudest moments as a classicist (GO Ovidiots!). Zachary regularly delivers conference presentations and publishes research on topics ranging from classical epic and Senecan exemplarity to German Romanticism. He hopes to specialize in Augustan poetry in graduate school.
